Army Corps to Study Blanchard in Findlay and in Ottawa

More studies of the Blanchard River in Findlay and in Ottawa will be done by the Army Corps of Engineers.

The surveys will include areas around the I-9 bridge in Ottawa and the site of a potential diversion channel outside of Ottawa.

In and around Findlay several areas will be checked.

The cost of the environmental review has been set at 3-million dollars. So far the Army Corps has only promised to pay $20-thousand dollars of that.
